Off-Grid Power
Off-Grid Power within SNDIAN's Energy & Power systems, designed and integrated as part of a coordinated environment.
Overview
Off-Grid Power contributes to generation, storage, conversion or protection of electrical supply. Its role is determined by the load profile, operating mode and safe interconnection design. SNDIAN's engineering scope addresses off-grid power as an integrated system: functional requirements, device or platform selection, infrastructure dependencies, interfaces, testing and operator handover are considered together.
Capabilities
- Load and operating-mode assessment
- Generation, storage and grid or standalone topology
- Power conversion and protection coordination
- Autonomy, monitoring and control strategy
- Environmental and maintenance access review
- Commissioning of operating states and alarms
Deployment considerations
Design for the site, not only the specification.
01
Base sizing on measured or documented loads, site conditions and defined operating modes; confirm applicable approvals and safety requirements.
02
Coordinate protection, isolation, ventilation, fire-safety interfaces, access and monitoring with electrical and facilities designers.
03
Commission operating modes, transfer behavior and alarms; provide safe isolation, maintenance and assumptions documentation.
